About Hermanus
Known as the "Riviera of the South",  Hermanus is situated on the Cape South Coast, a 90-minute drive from Cape Town which takes one through some of the most beautiful landscapes in the country.

Apart from a multitude of leisure activities and natural attractions waiting to be enjoyed, the town has a wide range of restaurants and shops.

Things to do in Hermanus
Hermanus offers the best land based whale watching in the world. In the Fernkloof Nature Reserve there are magnificent walks through its fynbos kingdom. Or, you can stroll on the 16 km long Grotto Beach  – a Blue Flag Status beach – without seeing anybody or along the 12 km long scenic cliff path with fantastic points for whale watching. There’s also a great range of sporting facilities for you to enjoy. Parasailing, shark diving, wave- and bodyboarding, windsurfing, mountain biking, or playing golf at the Hermanus Golf Course or at Arabella Estate and using their spa and beauty facilities for relaxing.
